Cancellation and Refund Policy

At FoodOrderKar, we strive to provide a seamless food delivery experience. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Below is our cancellation and refund policy to ensure clarity and transparency.


1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Before Order Confirmation:

  • You can cancel your order at no charge before it is confirmed by the restaurant.
  • To cancel, go to your order history and select “Cancel Order.”

1.2 After Order Confirmation:

  • Once the restaurant has confirmed your order, cancellation is subject to the restaurant’s policies.
  • If the restaurant has not started preparing the food, you may be eligible for a full refund.
  • If the food preparation has started, cancellation will not be permitted, and no refund will be issued.

1.3 For Scheduled Orders:

  • Scheduled orders can be canceled up to 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligible Refunds:

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • The order was canceled before confirmation by the restaurant.
  • The restaurant was unable to fulfill your order.
  • Incorrect, missing, or damaged items were delivered (with proof).
  • Significant delay in delivery beyond the expected time due to reasons within FoodOrderKar’s control.

2.2 Non-Refundable Cases:

  • Orders canceled after the food preparation has started.
  • Minor delays in delivery caused by traffic, weather, or other uncontrollable factors.
  • Change of mind or incorrect address provided by the customer.

2.3 Refund Process:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or as wallet credit in the FoodOrderKar app, based on your preference.

3. Delivery Issues

  • Late Delivery: If your delivery is delayed beyond the promised time due to issues within our control, please contact our support team for compensation eligibility.
  • Missing or Incorrect Items: Report missing or incorrect items within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos. After verification, we will initiate a refund or arrange for redelivery.

4. How to Request a Refund or Raise a Concern

  1. Open the FoodOrderKar app.
  2. Navigate to your order history.
  3. Select the order and click on “Report an Issue.”
  4. Provide relevant details and supporting proof (photos, receipts, etc.).
  5. Our support team will review your request and respond within 48 hours.
